You can find Sun Forge Pvt. Ltd. out on Kalawad Road, specifically in the G.I.D.C Lodhika area, which most people around here just call Metoda. We are at Plot No. G 511/512, right near the Kishan Gate. It’s a dusty part of the world, but that’s where the industry is. We spend our days around heavy machinery and the sound of metal being worked. It’s loud, and the heat from the forge is something you never really get used to, you just deal with it as part of the job. The floors are usually covered in a bit of grit, and everyone wears boots that have seen better days. We aren't a massive corporation; we’re just a team of people who know how to handle steel. Most of our mornings start early before the sun gets too high and makes the shed unbearable. We have two plots joined together, so there’s a bit of space to move around, but it fills up fast with raw materials and finished parts waiting to be loaded onto trucks. The Kishan Gate area is always busy with traffic, so we try to time our deliveries to avoid the worst of the congestion. It’s hard work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is pretty tired. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the furnace is running like it should. There is no air conditioning in the main area, just big fans that mostly just move the warm air around. We have been here for a long time.
