Shine Engineering

If you find yourself at the GIDC Metoda, we are the ones located at G-108 and 109/a. It is a bit of a double plot we have here, right behind the GIDC Skill Upgradation Centre. That is usually the easiest way to tell people how to find us. Just come through the 2nd Gate and head toward the back. Shine Engineering is the name on the door, though some days we feel less like shining and more like just getting the grease off our hands after a long shift. We have been in Metoda for a good stretch of time. You get used to the noise of the neighboring shops and the way the sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons. It gets hot, so we keep the big doors open most of the time. We aren't big on meetings or long emails. We just like to get the drawings and start the work. There is always someone around the shop floor, usually covered in some kind of dust or oil. Being near the skill centre means we see a lot of young people coming and going, which is nice. We just focus on what is on the bench in front of us. It is a practical way to spend the day, making sure the parts are right and the machines are humming. Not much to look at, just a regular engineering shop in a busy industrial hub.
