Spandan Academy

We are over at 307 Rajeshwari Complex on Yagnik Road. If you know Rajkot well, you know this part of town is pretty busy, especially being right opposite the Ramkrishna Aashram. Spandan Academy has been sitting here for a bit now. It’s a standard setup, nothing too fancy, just some rooms where we get things done. Most people find us because of the landmark across the street, which makes it easy to explain to anyone coming for the first time. The building is older but it works for what we need. We spend most of our days inside these walls dealing with students and paperwork. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but that’s just how it is in this area. We have our space on the third floor. You have to take the stairs or the lift if it’s working right. It’s mostly just a practical place to be. We don’t really do a lot of decorating or anything like that. People come in, do their work, and head back out to the main road. It is quite convenient because of all the shops nearby if you need a snack or some stationery. We’ve stayed here because it’s central and everyone knows where the Aashram is. It is just a local spot where we try to keep things moving. Not much else to say about the physical space, it’s just where we operate from every day.
