Shrimati Sarojini Naidu Girls High School

Our school, Shrimati Sarojini Naidu Girls High School, is situated over at Plot No 2 in the Ambaji Kadva Plot area. It is right on Krishna Nagar Main Road, which as you might know, is quite a busy part of Rajkot. Being near Gondal Road means there is always something going on outside our doors. The traffic is constant, but once you step inside the school, things settle down a bit. We are in the 360004 zip code area. The building itself has seen many years and many students come through. It is a girls' high school, so the atmosphere is usually filled with the sound of students talking and getting to their next class. We do not have any corporate offices or fancy lobbies. It is just a school with benches, blackboards, and a lot of books. The staff here lives mostly in the surrounding parts of Rajkot, so we all know the local shortcuts and the best times to avoid the Krishna Nagar traffic. We open the gates early and the day goes by in a blur of lessons and lunch breaks. It feels like a very integrated part of the city. People walking by the Gondal Road area probably see the students in their uniforms every morning. It is a steady, predictable place to be, and we like the rhythm of it. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students have what they need for the day.
