You will find us at number 31 in Amra, which is out toward Jamnagar. Shri Navsarjan Uttar Buniyadi Vidyalaya has been a fixture here for a long time. It is a simple spot, mostly just bricks and some shade trees that help when the afternoon sun hits the windows. We are out in the 361006 area, so it is a bit of a walk for some of the kids who come from the surrounding farms. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most days. We do not have any high-tech equipment or anything like that. Just the basics: some benches, a few blackboards, and a lot of dust that seems to find its way inside no matter how much we sweep. Working here means you do a bit of everything, from teaching to helping fix the roof after the monsoon. It is a community thing. The parents often stop by to chat or bring something by for the kitchen. We try to keep the place looking decent, but with limited hands, it is a slow process. Jamnagar is a busy district, but out here in Amra, things are a lot slower. We just focus on getting through the lessons and making sure everyone is accounted for. It is an honest kind of life. There isn't much to brag about, but it is our place and we are here every morning rain or shine.
