I P Mission Girls High School

Our school is tucked away in Mochi Bazar, which is one of the older and busier parts of Rajkot. It’s a girls' school, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for many years. The streets around us are narrow and full of shops and people going about their daily lives. Because of where we are, it can be quite noisy outside, but inside the gates, it’s a bit calmer. The building shows its age in some places, but we do our best to maintain it. We have several floors of classrooms where the girls spend their day studying. Most of the students walk here from the nearby houses or take a rickshaw through the crowded lanes. We don't have a big playground, so the girls mostly stay in the courtyard or the halls during their breaks. It’s a very local atmosphere here. Everyone knows everyone else's family. Our teachers are often former students themselves, or they have lived in Rajkot their whole lives. We don’t have fancy stuff like air conditioning or high-tech labs, just the standard things needed for a high school education. We just focus on getting the girls through their exams and helping them learn what they need to know. It’s a busy, cramped, but familiar place for all of us who work and study here in the heart of the city. We keep to our schedule and try to make the most of what we have.
