Wankaner is known for its history and the industries nearby, and our school in Tithva is a part of that local fabric. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Morbi town, sitting in a spot that feels more rural. The school building is a basic structure, nothing too impressive to look at from the outside. We have a courtyard where the students gather, and when the wind blows, you can feel the dust from the nearby fields. Our classrooms are plain, with whiteboards that have seen a lot of use. We don’t have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with everything, from teaching to fixing a broken chair. The kids here are mostly from local families who work in the factories or on farms. They are hardworking but sometimes they get distracted by the festivals or local events. We try to keep a steady schedule, though things can get a bit chaotic during the monsoon when the roads get muddy. There is a sense of community here that you don't find in big city schools. We know when a student’s family is going through a hard time. The furniture is old, the paint is peeling in a few spots, and the playground is mostly just dirt. But it’s our school, and we take care of it the best we can. It’s a place for learning without any of the extra fluff you see elsewhere.
