Shri P B Patel Vidyalaya

Our place, Shri P B Patel Vidyalaya, is right by the Water Tank Chowk in Brahamaniyapara. This is a very busy part of the 360003 area on Pedak Road in Rajkot, and our school has been part of it for a long time. Most people use the water tank as a landmark to find us. We are a local school that caters to the kids in this neighborhood. The building is a simple one, with several floors of classrooms. It isn't a modern glass building; it’s a place that feels lived-in and familiar. Every morning, the streets around Pedak Road are full of students in their uniforms making their way to our gates. We have a staff of teachers and workers who take care of the place. We don't have a corporate office or a public relations team. We just have our principal’s office and a small room for the teachers to have their lunch. The classrooms have wooden desks that have been used by many students over the years. We spend our days teaching the basic subjects and making sure the kids stay on track with their work. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the noise from the traffic and the students, but we are used to it. We don't try to look more fancy than we are. We are just a neighborhood school providing a place for the local children to learn and grow. It is a humble but steady part of life in Rajkot. We like it that way.
