Shri G P S Madhyamik Shala

Shri G P S Madhyamik Shala is located in the town of Dasada, which is part of the Surendra Nagar district in Gujarat. We are a secondary school that serves the local community here. Our building is quite simple and sits right in the heart of the town, making it easy for the students to walk or bike in from the nearby houses. We don't have any big corporate backing or a massive campus with modern amenities. Instead, we have a few rows of classrooms and a small office where all the paperwork gets handled by hand most of the time. The daily routine is very predictable, starting with a morning assembly and then moving into the different subject periods throughout the day. Since we are in a more rural area, things feel a bit more relaxed than in the bigger cities like Ahmedabad. We know most of the families in Dasada, and many of the parents were students here themselves back in the day. We deal with the usual stuff like fixing leaky pipes or finding extra benches when a class gets too full. It’s a very honest way to run a school, with no pretenses or polished marketing involved. We just focus on the basics of teaching and making sure the kids are ready for their next steps. It’s a quiet life in Dasada, and we are just happy to be a part of the daily rhythm of this town.
