Shree Nalanda Higher Secondary School

We are located in Gondal, which is a comfortable distance from Rajkot. The school has been a fixture here for quite a while now. We focus on higher secondary education, so our students are mostly teenagers preparing for their future. The building is a simple, rectangular block with a few floors. We have wide corridors where students gather between their classes. It’s usually pretty quiet during the lessons, except for the occasional sound of a tractor passing by on the road. We have a decent-sized area for the students to spend their lunch hours. The rooms are equipped with the standard benches and blackboards. We don't use much technology; it is mostly just books and pens here. Our teachers have been around for a long time and they know how to handle the rowdy teenagers. There is a small staff room where we keep all the registers and have our lunch. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website, we just rely on the fact that we have been in Gondal for years. Parents come to see us when they have concerns, and we sit down in the office to talk things through. It is a very direct and honest way of doing things. The school gates are old and a bit creaky, but they open every morning at the same time. We just provide a steady place for the local kids to finish their schooling. The sun gets strong in the afternoon, but we have enough trees.
