Shree Lalbahadur Shasrti Kanya Vidhyalaya

Right in the middle of Rajkot, near Mandvi Chowk and Sadar Bazar, you will find Shree Lalbahadur Shasrti Kanya Vidhyalaya. We are on Dr Radhakrushna Road, which is a very busy area. There is always noise from the market and the traffic outside, but once you step inside the school gates, it feels a bit more contained. It is a school for girls and it has a long history in this part of town. The building is several floors high because space is tight in the city center. We have narrow hallways and stairs that stay busy during the break times. The girls are always talking and laughing, which fills the place with life. We do not have much of a playground, just a small open space, but we make it work for the students. It is a very urban school, surrounded by shops and businesses. Parents like that it is right in the heart of the city where it is easy to reach. We have old wooden cabinets full of files and trophies from many years ago. The teachers are used to the hustle and bustle of Sadar Bazar. It is a place with a lot of character and it is definitely not a quiet, suburban campus. It is an honest, hard-working school for the girls of Rajkot. We just keep things moving one day at a time.
