Shree Dharmjivan Vidya Sankul

If you head over to Jetpur in the Rajkot district, you’ll find us at Shree Dharmjivan Vidya Sankul. It’s a busy part of the region and the school is right in the middle of it. We have a lot of students coming in every day from different parts of Jetpur. The classrooms stay pretty full. We have a routine that we’ve stuck to for years. It starts with the morning assembly and then it’s straight into the books. The sun gets quite strong out here in Rajkot, so we try to keep the rooms as cool as we can with the ceiling fans. We aren't a big fancy institution with glass walls. We are more about the brick and mortar and the actual work of teaching. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with tea cups and half-graded papers. That’s just how it is when you’re busy. We have a playground that sees a lot of use during the breaks. The dust kicks up when the kids are running, but it’s part of the atmosphere. We don't do much in the way of advertising because everyone in town already knows where we are and what we do. It’s just a regular school helping the kids in the neighborhood. We handle the daily chores, the exams, and the occasional school event without too much fuss. It’s a practical place for local families to send their children. We keep things moving forward and just deal with whatever comes up.
