Sarvajanik Vidhyalaya

Sarvajanik Vidhyalaya is located right near the Taluka Panchayat in Sayla. It is a busy part of Surendranagar, and being at number 5 makes us pretty easy to find. We have been in the 363001 area for a long time. Local kids from all over the town come here to study. The building is very plain and simple. It is not something that would stand out to a stranger, but it is always full of energy once the students arrive. We have wooden desks that have been used by many generations and a playground that is mostly just hard dirt. That is where all the games happen during recess. We spend a lot of our time on administrative tasks. Being so close to the government offices means there is always some kind of paperwork that needs to be filed. Most of our teachers grew up in this town or nearby. We know the parents and the local shopkeepers. It is a small-town atmosphere where everyone knows your name. We do not have a big mission statement or any corporate goals. We just show up every morning, teach the scheduled classes, and go home to our families. The afternoon sun can make the classrooms quite warm, so the fans are always running. When the school day ends, the street fills up with the sound of bicycles and kids chatting. We just handle things as they come and keep the place running.
