We are located at Plot No. 306 in the Rajeshwari Complex, right on Dr. Yasik Road. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Ramkrishna Ashram. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve been here for quite some time now. My family runs the business and we focus on building raw materials like bricks, sand, and cement. It gets quite dusty around the office, but that is just the nature of dealing with construction stuff. People usually come by when they are starting a new house project or maybe just fixing up a broken wall in their backyard. We try to keep everything in stock so that folks don't have to wait around for weeks for their supplies. Sometimes the trucks from the suppliers are late because of the traffic or the weather, which can be a real headache for us and the people waiting, but we manage somehow. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning and plush chairs. We have old ledgers and a lot of paperwork scattered on the desk. Most people in this neighborhood know us by name and just drop in for a chat or to check on their orders. We spend most of our day coordinating deliveries and checking the material that comes in. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the yard, but the building business keeps us moving. We deal with local contractors and regular families too. They just pull up, tell us what they need for their site, and we figure out how to get it there. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we’ve seen the whole area grow from our little corner.
