Royal Engineers

We are located over at Angel, 7/11, Alka Soc., right on Mavdi Main Road. Royal Engineers started out as a very small operation and we have mostly stayed that way because it suits us. The shop is part of the Alka Society area, so it feels more like a local neighborhood spot than a big, cold industrial plant. We do a lot of engineering work for the other local businesses that operate around here. It is mostly metalwork and various types of repairs. Our workshop is usually full of the smell of hot metal and the loud sound of grinders. We do not have a fancy front office with a receptionist; you basically just walk in and talk to whoever happens to not be busy at that moment. We have got a few machines that have been with us since the very beginning. They might look a bit old and worn, but they still work perfectly fine for what we need to do. Most of the people who come to us with work are our neighbors or folks from just a few streets away. We do not do any kind of big advertising. Word of mouth from happy customers seems to do the trick for us. We are not looking to become some giant corporation. We just like doing the work and seeing a job finished well. Sometimes things take a bit longer than we expected, but we always find a way to get the project done for the people who need it.
