Rameshbhai & Company is tucked away on Dhebar Road, behind Savrastra Cold Storage. It can be a little tricky to find the first time because you have to look for the cold storage entrance first. The area is always buzzing with trucks loading and unloading crates. Because of the cold storage nearby, there’s often a bit of a chill in the air when the big doors open. We spend our days mostly handling paperwork and making sure the inventory matches what we have on the floor. It’s a practical business, nothing flashy or high-tech. The office is small and filled with ledgers and old files that we still keep around. We’ve been on Dhebar Road long enough to know all the other shop owners and the tea seller who comes around in the morning with his kettle. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn around in the tight space. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. It's just family and a few helpers keeping things moving. We value the quiet moments when the phones stop ringing for a bit. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on your feet. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure everyone who comes through the door gets what they need without any delay. It’s just how we operate. We don’t ask for much, just a smooth day where everything gets delivered to the right place on time.
