Radhika School

Radhika School is located out on the Rajkot Road near Tramba. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center of Rajkot, which actually makes it a bit quieter here, though the highway traffic never really stops. We are right in the Kasturbadham area. The school has plenty of open space around it, which is nice for the students when they want to run around during their lunch hour. We don’t have those huge manicured lawns you see in brochures; it’s mostly just ground and some trees that we try to keep alive in the heat. Students come to us from the surrounding villages and the edge of the city. Most of them take the bus or get dropped off by parents on their way to work. The building is simple and functional. We have the usual classrooms, a small office, and a place where kids eat their tiffins. It gets very hot here in the summer months, so we do what we can with fans and open windows. Our staff is a mix of younger teachers and some who have been here since the start. We don't spend money on big signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the daily schedule. Making sure everyone shows up on time and gets their homework finished is our main priority. It’s a straightforward place for kids to get their schooling without any extra fuss or unnecessary expenses.
