Prevail Casting Pvt. Ltd. is situated out here in Shapar, right on that road near the village. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise and movement around us. We spend our days dealing with metal and molds. It gets pretty hot in the shed, especially during the summer months when the sun hits the roof. Most of the guys have been with us for years. We start early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. Shapar is a busy place, lots of trucks coming and going all the time. Our spot is near the village road, so we see a lot of local traffic too. We do a lot of casting work, mostly focusing on getting the pours right and making sure the sand molds are set up properly. There’s a lot of dust and grit in this business, it’s just how it is. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workshop and the storage area. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait it out. We usually grab tea from the stall just down the road. It’s a simple life here in the Rajkot district. We keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we know. We’ve seen the area change a bit over time, but the work stays the same.
