Amrut Dye Cast

Our unit is located in Radai Village, right behind the Radai Police Station on Iskon Industrial Road, No. 7. It’s a bit out of the main city, which we like. The casting process is loud and creates a lot of heat, so being in a village setting with a bit more space helps. We’ve been doing dye casting here for a good while. The floor is usually covered in sand and metal shavings. It’s a grimy job, but it’s what we know. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we make, you have to come into the workshop and look at the bins of finished parts. The police station is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. The road can be a bit bumpy, especially after the rains. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since we started. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our orders come from regular customers who have been using our parts for years. We just focus on the molds and the metal. It’s a simple operation. We eat our lunch together under the shade of a tree outside when it’s too hot inside. It’s a very local way of working. We don't pretend to be a big multinational. We’re just a casting shop in Radai.
