Pathak School

You can find Pathak School right near Sardar Patel Park. Being on the 150 Feet Ring Road in Rajkot means there is always traffic going by, but once you get inside the gates, it quietens down a bit. We’ve got a fairly large building here with plenty of rooms for the students. It’s a local place, and most of the staff have been living in Rajkot for their whole lives. We don't go in for anything too fancy. The classrooms have the usual boards and desks, and they get plenty of sunlight in the afternoons. During recess, the noise level goes up quite a bit as everyone heads out to the open areas. We keep an eye on the kids and make sure everything is running on time. It’s a lot of work keeping a school going, from fixing leaky taps to making sure the schedules don't clash. Parents stop by the office pretty often to talk about how their kids are doing. We know most of them by name because it’s that kind of neighborhood. The 360005 area has grown a lot lately, and we’ve seen the changes right from our front gate. It's just a steady, daily routine of teaching and looking after the grounds. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even when things get hectic during exam season or school events. The local park nearby is a good landmark for people finding us.
