Niranjan School & Navkar School

Niranjan School & Navkar School are located in the Atika Industrial Area in Bhakti Nagar, Rajkot. It’s an interesting place for a school because the surrounding area is full of small factories and workshops. You can often hear the hum of machinery or the sound of metal being worked nearby. Our building is situated right in the middle of this busy industrial zone. It’s a practical setup with two names but a shared goal of serving the local families who work in and around Atika. The rooms are basic and the furniture is built to last. We don’t have much green space, but there is an area where the kids can gather. The air in Rajkot can be dry, and being in an industrial area means there is always a bit of soot or dust, so we do a lot of cleaning. The students are the children of the people who make this city run. They are hardworking kids who come here every day to sit in these classrooms. We don't use any slick language to describe what we do. It’s a straightforward operation. We have teachers who show up, students who learn, and a bell that rings at the end of the day. There are no fancy extras or high-priced amenities. We just provide a place for these kids to be while their parents are at work. It’s a very real, working-class part of Rajkot 360002.
