Our place, New Krishna Cement Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away behind the 66 Kva sub station. If you know the Shitala Mataji Temple, we’re right near there on NH-8B. Being near a sub station means there’s always that low hum in the background, which you sort of stop noticing after the first week. We’re located at Survey No. 238. It’s a busy patch of land with the highway right there. You see all sorts of vehicles heading down NH-8B, carrying goods and people across this part of the country. The temple is a nice neighbor to have; it’s a quiet contrast to the heavy trucks and the industrial feel of the sub station. We’ve got our stacks of cement and our daily routine. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, making the concrete feel like an oven sometimes. It’s a practical location for us since getting onto the main road is quick. We don’t have a big front office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s mostly just the warehouse and the space where the trucks load up. People find us by looking for the temple or the sub station towers. It’s a simple operation at Survey No. 238. We just keep our heads down and handle the cement orders as they come in. It’s been our home for a good while now.
