Mnr High School

Since we are right on the highway, we get a lot of trucks and cars zooming past all day long. It can be a bit noisy, but we are used to it by now. The school itself is a sturdy building that stands out a bit from the other structures along the road. We have a decent amount of space, and many of our students come from the surrounding villages and the town of Tankara itself. They arrive by bus or sometimes on tractors if that's what's available. We keep the gates shut during the day to keep things safe and quiet inside. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and blackboards that have seen better days, but they do the job just fine. We don't have any big corporate funding or anything like that. We just rely on the local families and our dedicated teachers who make the trip here every day. During the breaks, the kids play in the yard, and you can hear their shouting over the sound of the highway traffic. It’s a very grounded place. We don't promise anything fancy; we just provide a spot for learning here on Highway No 24. It’s a practical, no-nonsense school for the people living in this part of Rajkot and we stay busy with it.
