Mitcon School

Mitcon School is our little corner of Gondal, Rajkot. It’s located in the 360311 area, and it’s a place that feels very familiar to anyone who grew up around here. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern place in the world. We just have a set of classrooms, some chalkboards, and a lot of books that have seen better days. Every morning, the streets around the school get crowded with bicycles and parents dropping off their kids. It’s a bit of a mess for twenty minutes, and then it gets quiet once the first bell rings. We have teachers who have been here for years, and they know the names of almost every student’s older siblings too. The office is usually cluttered with permission slips and half-empty boxes of chalk. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some student drawings and maybe a calendar that’s a month behind. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds in the trees outside while you're trying to do a math problem. We don't have any big slogans or shiny brochures. We just show up, open the gates, and get to work teaching the kids. It’s a simple life in a simple school, and we think that’s perfectly fine for our community. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the atmosphere friendly for everyone.
