Mini Rose School

Mini Rose School is over at 2-Jalaram Plot, right on Nirmala Convent Road near University Road. This part of Rajkot is usually full of people going about their business. Our school building is a modest one. It has been standing here for years, watching the neighborhood change around it. We have a simple gate and a small yard where the kids gather before the classes start. Inside, the rooms are basic with standard benches and tables. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or fancy equipment. It is just a place with teachers, students, and books. You can hear the hum of the ceiling fans in every room during the summer months. The walls are covered with some old charts and maps that have started to yellow at the edges. We focus on the daily lessons. Every morning starts with a small assembly. The street outside can get a bit tight with parked scooters, so we ask everyone to be careful. Most of the families who send their kids here have lived in this area for a long time. They know us and we know them. It’s a very local feel. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just a school where we teach the basics and make sure the kids are doing their homework. The day ends early enough for everyone to get home for tea.
