Millennium High School

This school is tucked away in the Punit Park area near the 150 Feet Ring Road. If you know Rajkot, you know how busy that road gets during the day. We’ve been operating out of Vavdi for a while now. The building isn't brand new, but it holds up well enough for the kids who come here every morning. Most of our students live in the surrounding neighborhoods, so they usually walk or catch a rickshaw. We teach the standard subjects you'd expect at any high school. The hallways are usually pretty loud between classes, which is just part of the deal. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we’re always cleaning the desks. We don't have a giant stadium or anything, but there's space for the kids to run around during their breaks. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with papers and tea cups. We try to keep things organized, but with so many students, it’s a bit of a challenge. It's a very local feel here. Parents often drop by to talk about how their kids are doing, and we usually know them by name. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. It’s just a place where Rajkot families send their children to get through their school years. We do what we can with the space we have and keep the focus on the books and the lessons.
