Mahadev Cement Blocks & Poles

We are located in Shastri Nagar, specifically at the Post Savdi area in Tankara Taluka. This is out in the Rajkot district along the Jamnagar Road. Our work involves making cement blocks and poles, so our site is mostly an open yard where we can cast the concrete and let it dry. It is a very dusty and physical environment. Most of our days are spent outdoors moving heavy materials around. We have a small building on the site where we keep our tools and some of the smaller items, but most of the action happens out in the open. The sun can be very strong out here on the road, so we try to get the heavy casting done early in the morning. We are not a corporate entity with a polished image. We are just a group of people who know how to work with cement. Our clothes are usually covered in grey spots by the end of the shift. We have been here for some time now and have a good rhythm. The trucks come and go all day long to pick up orders. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. We just show people what we have in the yard. It is a straightforward way of living and working. We focus on the quality of the blocks we make and let the work speak for itself. It is a hard job but a good one.
