We are located at 8/A on the National Highway, which means there’s a constant hum of traffic outside our windows. We’re part of the Madhu Industries complex, and our post box is No. 321. It’s an industrial sort of life out here. The office isn't much to look at, just desks and filing cabinets filled with export documents. We spend a lot of our time talking to drivers and checking on container loads. Being right on the highway is convenient for the trucks, even if the dust gets everywhere. We don’t have much in the way of decoration; it’s a practical workspace meant for moving goods. Usually, the day starts with a cup of tea while we look at the shipping logs. There’s a lot of back and forth between the warehouse and the front desk. We handle the export side of things, so there’s always a lot of stamps and signatures needed. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, which is just how things are in this area. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the highway don’t even bother us anymore. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this is where the industry is. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We do what needs to be done.
