Jenish Engineering

We are located at Plot No. 9 in the Varudi Estate area, which is part of the Somnath Industrial Area on Dhebar Road South. If you know Rajkot, you know this part of town is always noisy and full of trucks. Our shop, Jenish Engineering, is tucked away on Street No. 7. It’s a busy little corner where there is always something being welded or turned on a lathe. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is pretty standard for what we do. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a small desk where we keep the logs and take calls. Most of the time, the owner is right there on the floor with the rest of the guys, probably covered in grease. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly just basic engineering stuff that people in the industrial estate need. The tea stall at the corner of the street is where we usually take our breaks when the machines are cooling down. It’s not the cleanest place, but we work hard and we get the parts out. The weather gets really dry here, so the fans are always running, though they mostly just move the hot air around. We’ve been at this plot for a few years now, and we just keep doing what we know how to do without much trouble or complaining about the long hours.
