Jayco Manufacturers

Jayco Manufacturers is located at 51, C/1, in the Aji Gidc Industrial Estate, Phase-I, Road-D. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't used to the industrial layout. Rajkot can get incredibly dusty, and being in the GIDC estate means there’s always dust blowing around from the construction or the other factories. We have a fairly large space, but it’s mostly filled with raw materials and half-finished products. We do a lot of manufacturing work here, mostly stuff that requires a lot of heavy machinery. The guys on the shop floor have been doing this for a long time, and you can tell by how they handle the tools. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of the power generator. We have a small office area, but I usually prefer being out where the work is happening. The chairs in the office are old and a bit squeaky, and the calendar on the wall is usually a month behind. We don't really care about the decor much. We just want to make sure the orders are filled and the machines don't break down at the wrong time. We’ve had some long days here, staying late to finish a batch while eating snacks from the local canteen. It’s just the way the business is, and we have been at it for years.
