You'll find us right at Plot No. 4 in GIDC-2, which is just off the NH-8B highway. If you drive down the highway, you’ve probably seen the dust from all the industrial plots around here. We work with cement, making various articles and products for building. It’s heavy, gray work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. The yard is filled with molds and drying concrete. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen GIDC-2 grow quite a bit. Being near the national highway makes it easy for trucks to pull in and load up the heavy items. It’s a noisy place with the mixers running, but that's how it is. We aren't a high-tech facility; we rely on a lot of manual labor and experience to get the shapes right. Most of the guys here have been lifting bags of cement for a long time. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our customers are builders or contractors who just know where to find us. They stop their trucks on the way to a site and pick up what they need. It’s a simple, local business. We focus on getting the concrete to set right and making sure the pieces don’t crack. It’s honest work under the sun. The summer heat makes the cement dry fast, so we have to move quickly. That's how we spend our days.
