J P Modi School

You can find J P Modi School over in the Vasai area of Jamnagar. It has been a fixture in this neighborhood for a long time. We have kids of all ages coming through the gates every morning, from the little ones in primary to the teenagers. The school isn't very big, but we make use of every bit of space we have. There are some trees in the courtyard that offer some relief from the sun during the hotter months. We don't have a lot of the fancy facilities you might see in the private schools in bigger cities. It is just classrooms, a small playground, and an office where we keep the records. The teachers are mostly local residents who know the families well. Sometimes the kids get a bit rowdy in the hallways between classes, and we have to tell them to settle down. The building is a bit old and the walls have some scuffs here and there, but it feels like a real place. We spend a lot of time on the basic stuff like making sure everyone has their books and that the attendance is taken properly. It is a bit of a routine, but it is what we do here in Jamnagar. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything. We just open the school up and do our jobs every day as best as we can without making any big fuss about it.
