Dream International School

Our school is out on the Jetpur Highway Road. People drive past it all the time going to Rajkot or coming back. It’s a busy spot but once you get inside the gates of Dream International School, it gets much quieter. We’ve been here in Dhoraji for a while now, and the building has become a part of the local scenery. Most of the staff live nearby in the town, so we know the families around here pretty well. It isn't a fancy place with gold walls or anything, just a regular school where kids come to sit and learn their lessons. The sun gets really hot out on the highway during the afternoons, but the classrooms stay okay if we keep the fans going. We spend a lot of time making sure the desks are straight and the chalkboards are cleaned off at the end of the day. Sometimes the traffic noise from the big trucks on the road is a bit much, but you get used to it after a week or so. Parents drop their kids off early in the morning, and the school bus pulls in right by the main gate. It's a simple routine we follow. We don't have big speeches or anything like that here. It's just teachers showing up, kids playing in the yard during their break, and everyone trying to get through the day's work together. It feels like a small community even though we are right next to a main road. There’s a lot of dust from the road sometimes, so we're always sweeping the floors. That's just how it is for us.
