Dream India School

If you walk down Sahkar Road in the Narayan Nagar neighborhood, you’ll find us at number two. Dream India School has a spot right here in Rajkot, zip code 360002. It’s a fairly typical street with houses and shops nearby. We aren't a massive campus with stadiums; it's more of a local school for the families living around here. The gate is usually being painted or repaired because someone bumped it. Inside, there are classrooms filled with desks that have seen better days. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many kids running around, it's a bit of a losing battle. The teachers talk to parents at the gate in the morning. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere without being too formal. We use the local shops for our supplies when we run out of chalk or paper. Rajkot can get quite dusty, so we are always sweeping the floors. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building directly. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—scooters passing by and people talking. We don't have a giant sign, just enough for people to know they’ve arrived. It’s a basic school where we focus on the daily lessons. Nothing too complicated happens here, just the usual cycle of the school year. Most days go by without much fuss, which is exactly how we like things to be. It’s just a normal neighborhood school.
