Dirasa Exporters

We are located back behind K. Rasiklal in the Aji Vasahat area, right near the Digvijay Foundry. It’s an industrial part of town, so there are always trucks moving in and out and the sound of heavy machinery from the neighbors. Our main thing is exporting, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with crates and boxes. The office is small and usually has stacks of papers and shipping labels everywhere. We started out with just a small room and have grown into this spot over the years. Being near the foundry means it gets quite dusty, and we have to keep everything covered up so it stays clean before it goes into the shipping containers. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just checking lists and making sure the right items get into the right boxes. We know most of the drivers who come through here, and they know where to find us even though we’re a bit hidden in the back. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of the estate, and we just have to sit and wait it out, maybe have some tea. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that. People find us because they need things moved across the world and they know we’ve been at this address for a while. It’s a steady rhythm of packing and sending, day after day, year after year, until the job is done.
