Dalal Ratilal & Sons

Our business, Dalal Ratilal & Sons, is located at 13 Natraj Chambers. We are right in the middle of Bardan Gali, which is a busy part of the Danapith area. If you have ever walked through these specific lanes, you know how narrow and crowded they can be with people and goods. It is a traditional market area, and our family has been based here for many years. The building itself is quite old, and the stairs are worn down from all the different people who have climbed them over the decades. Our office is small and usually filled with the various smells of the commodities being traded in the market nearby. We have stacks of old ledgers and heavy wooden furniture that has been around forever. It is a family-run place, so there is almost always a relative or two hanging around talking about the day's news. We do not really care for modern office trends or fancy technology. We prefer doing things the way we always have, with face-to-face talk and a lot of patience. It is about being present in the market every single day. We know the porters, the other traders, and the tea sellers by their names. The noise from the street below never really stops until very late in the evening. It is a busy, hectic life in Danapith, but we have grown to love the rhythm of it.
