B.K.Mody Government Pharmacy College

This college is tucked away on the Polytechnic Campus in Rajkot. If you walk through the campus, you’ll find us right there near the other technical buildings. Being a government institution, things move at their own pace here. There is quite a lot of history in these walls, and you can see it in the architecture and the old wooden cabinets in the labs. We spend most of our time dealing with lab equipment, chemicals, and stacks of journals. The students are usually busy rushing between lectures and their practical sessions. Rajkot gets quite hot, so the afternoons in the labs can be a bit intense, but we have fans running and everyone just gets on with their work. It’s a practical place. We don't have much time for fluff or fancy decorations. The office staff is always busy with enrollment forms and exam schedules. You’ll often see groups of students sitting under the trees nearby, discussing their notes or just taking a break from the books. The campus has a very specific feel to it, a mix of old traditions and the new ideas students bring in every year. We have a library that stays pretty quiet, which is a nice change from the noisy hallways. It is just a place for people who want to learn about pharmacy and get their degree. There’s no big secret to it, just daily work and keeping the labs stocked properly for the students to do their practicals.
