Balkishor Vidyalaya

Balkishor Vidyalaya is located at 10, Laxmiwadi in Rajkot. We are right in the heart of the 360001 area, which is an older part of the city with a lot of history. Our school is a small, local establishment. We don't have a large campus or multiple wings. Instead, we have a simple building that houses our classrooms and a small office area. Laxmiwadi is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else, and our school fits right into that atmosphere. Most of the children who attend Balkishor Vidyalaya live just a few streets away. We don't have a fancy website or a big advertising budget. We rely on the fact that we have been here for a long time and parents know us. The classrooms are basic and functional. We have fans that hum in the background while the teachers talk and the students write in their notebooks. It is a very traditional way of teaching. We don't use many gadgets; we mostly stick to books and chalk. The staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from teaching to fixing the furniture. It’s a busy life, especially during the exam season when there is a lot of paperwork to handle. We don't try to sound like a polished corporate entity. We are just a local school in a busy neighborhood, trying to provide a steady place for learning. That is how we have always done things here in Laxmiwadi. Just a regular school for regular people.
