Ashok Iron & Steel Fabricators

Down in Mavdi Plot, we run our iron and steel fabrication shop. It’s a gritty place, full of the smell of welding and the sound of metal being cut. We don’t have a fancy office or even a proper sign out front most of the time. People just know us as Ashok Iron and Steel. We do a lot of custom work, like gates, grills, and frames for buildings around town. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and offcuts. We try to keep it tidy, but it’s a losing battle during a busy week. Our team is just a few guys who know how to handle a torch and a grinder. We’ve been working out of this same spot for a long time. Mavdi Plot is an area where people come when they need things built or fixed, so we fit right in. We don’t use any high-tech software or anything like that. We just take measurements, draw things out on a piece of paper, and get to work. It’s physical and tiring, but it’s what we know. We don’t promise anything we can’t do. If a job is too big for our small shop, we say so. Otherwise, we just get on with it. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out some of the shop noise. It’s a simple life, making things out of steel. There isn't much more to tell about us; we just work hard and finish our projects.
