Arpit School

Arpit School is located right on the Rajkot Morbi Highway in Tankara. If you’re driving between the two cities, you can’t miss us. It’s a very straightforward place. We have a gate, some classrooms, and a big open space for the kids to run around. Being on the highway means we get a lot of trucks rumbling past, but the walls are thick enough that it doesn't bother the classes too much. We’ve been here in the Rajkot district for quite a while. The people who work here mostly live in the nearby villages or in Tankara itself. In the mornings, the place fills up with the sound of kids talking and the buses parking out front. We don’t have anything too fancy or high-tech that you wouldn't find in a regular school. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and books. The weather out here can be tough, especially when it’s dry and windy, so we are always cleaning the windows and the floors. We have a small garden area that we try to keep green, though it’s a struggle in the summer. Life here follows the school calendar. We have the usual exams and holidays, and everyone knows the routine. It’s a simple, honest way to run a school. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the final bell rings at the end of the day. It’s a lot of work but we just get on with it.
