Arihant Enterprises

Our shop is number eight along Gondal Road. If you know where the Swaminarayan Gurukul is, we’re right near there, close to Jain Chowl. It’s a good spot, though the traffic can get pretty bad in the afternoons. Arihant Enterprises has been our little project for quite some time now. We sell various items that people need for their homes or small businesses. The shelves are usually pretty full, maybe a bit too full sometimes, so it takes a minute to find exactly what you’re looking for. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep it tidy enough. Customers come in and out all day, some just to chat and others because they need a specific part or tool. We don’t do any fancy advertising or anything. Word of mouth usually brings people in. Sometimes we’re out back moving stock around when a customer walks in, so we have to run to the front to see what they need. It’s just a normal shop life. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here at the same address. It's nothing fancy, just a local business trying to provide what people are asking for. We keep our hours steady so everyone knows when we're open. It’s a long day sometimes, but that's fine with us.
