Shree Radhe Bricks & Pavers India Pvt Ltd

Our place is in Banjar Pada, which is right near the Ambuja Mall in Saddu. It’s funny being so close to a big mall when we are here making bricks and pavers all day. One side is all shopping and movies, and our side is all clay and cement. We spend most of our time out in the yard. Making bricks is a slow process and you have to pay attention to the mix and the drying time. The pavers are a bit different but they still take a lot of work to get right for the driveways and paths people are building. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for a long time. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, so everyone stays pretty strong. The dust from the cement can get everywhere, especially when it’s windy outside. We usually start very early before the sun gets too high because the heat can be brutal during the summer months. Being near Saddu is convenient for getting supplies and for people to find us. We don't really have a showroom; we just show people the stacks of bricks we have ready in the yard. Sometimes kids from the neighborhood come by and watch the machines for a bit while their parents are shopping nearby. It’s just a regular local business where we focus on making stuff that people can actually use to build things.
