Bhardwaj Bricks & Infrastructure

We are located out in Village Tulsi Baradera. If you know where the Baradera Bazar is, we’re just a short distance from there in Tehsil Aarang. It’s a quiet area mostly, until the trucks start coming in to pick up the bricks. We spend most of our days in the sun, making sure the kiln is running right and the clay is set. It’s a lot of outdoor work, so we’re at the mercy of the weather most of the time. When it rains, things slow down, but otherwise, we’re pretty busy. The village life is slow, but the brick business is steady. We handle the infrastructure side of things too, which basically means we deal with a lot of heavy material and planning out how to get things moved. It’s not glamorous work. Your hands stay dirty and your boots are always covered in mud or dust. People from around Aarang know where to find us. We don’t have a big corporate setup, just a yard and the equipment we need. Most of our neighbors are farmers or have small shops in the bazar. We’ve been here for a while and we just keep our heads down and do the job. It’s about getting the bricks ready and making sure they’re solid enough for whatever people are building. It’s just how we make a living out here in Tulsi Baradera. The sunsets are nice over the kilns when we finish up our day's work.
