Tarun Fly Bricks

We have been running Tarun Fly Bricks here in Raigarh for a good while now. It started small, just a few of us working out in the sun, trying to figure out how to get the mix right for these fly ash bricks. Chhattisgarh gets really hot, so the work isn't always easy. Most days, we are out there early before the sun gets too high, checking on the press machines and making sure the stacks are drying like they should. It’s a messy business with all the ash and dust, but it’s what we know. My brother handles most of the talk with the truck drivers who come by to pick up loads for the local building sites. Sometimes the power goes out, and everything stops, which is a headache, but we just sit in the shade and wait it out. People around here know where we are, right in Raigarh, and they mostly just drop by when they need a batch for a wall or a small shed. We don’t have a big office or anything fancy, just a small desk and a few chairs where we sit to figure out the week's schedule. There is always something to fix, like a belt on the conveyor or a flat tire on the loader. It’s hard work, and our clothes are usually grey by lunchtime, but we get the orders out and keep things moving as best as we can.
