Welcome Bricks

Welcome Bricks is tucked away in Ward No. 12 of Manikchauri Village. We are in the Abhanpur Tehsil, right near the post office. It is a family-run kind of feel here. We have been making bricks in this village for a long time. The ground here is good for it. We have our stacks of bricks lined up in the yard, and it is usually a hive of activity during the day. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just call ourselves Welcome Bricks because we want people to feel okay coming in and asking questions. It is a hot job, especially being out in the sun all day in Abhanpur. We spend a lot of time making sure the bricks are fired right or dried properly depending on what we are making that week. The post office nearby is a good landmark for people who aren't from this ward. We get all kinds of people coming by, from farmers building a small shed to contractors working on bigger houses. We keep our paperwork in a simple ledger and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s not a complicated life. We work hard, we talk to our neighbors, and we make sure the bricks are solid. That is really all there is to it. We are just a local business doing what we know how to do. We keep the gates open for anyone who needs us. Every day is different out here in Manikchauri.
