Rishabh Bricks

Our yard is out on Kota Road, not too far from Ravi Shankar University. Being near a big university means there’s always a lot of movement around here. You see students and commuters all day long. Mohaba Bazar is a busy place, and we’re right in the mix of it. We spend our time out in the open, mostly dealing with the piles of bricks that come in. It’s a lot of manual labor, counting out the loads and making sure they get on the trucks properly. The weather plays a big part in our day. If it’s too wet, the ground gets muddy and it’s a mess to move anything. When it’s dry, the dust is everywhere. We don’t really have a regular routine because things change based on who shows up and what they need. We’ve been here for some time now, and we know the local roads pretty well. Sometimes we just sit out front and watch the traffic go by on Kota Road while we wait for the next delivery. It’s honest work and it keeps us moving. The stacks of bricks are pretty much the only thing you see when you walk in. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays. People just come in, ask for a price, and we see what we can do for them. It’s a long day sometimes, but the work is steady and we appreciate the people who stop by. We try to keep our head down and get it done.
