Jatan Devi Daga H.S. School has been part of the Civil Lines area for a long time. Our address is 7, Raipur, which is a pretty well-known spot if you live around here. Being in Civil Lines means we are in a central part of the city, so it is easy for students to get here from different parts of Raipur. The school building has that old-style feel to it, with thick walls and very high ceilings. It is a high school, so things are a bit more serious than a primary school, but it still has its moments of fun during the lunch breaks. We have a lot of students, and the hallways can get quite crowded between periods. Teachers are always busy with notebooks and registers. It is a regular school life, nothing fancy or over-the-top. We have a playground where the kids play football or cricket when the weather is okay. The Raipur-Chhattisgarh heat can be a bit much sometimes, but we get through it. People know us in the 492001 area because their parents or older siblings probably came here too. It is a place with a lot of history. We do not try to be anything we are not.
