Ashok Raghunath Joshi

My name is Ashok Raghunath Joshi and I work out of A/204 in the Radharinivas Complex. This is in Panvel, right opposite the Ramdas Maruti Mandir. Being across from the temple means there is always a sense of peace, even when the streets are crowded. You can hear the bells and the prayers sometimes, which is nice when you're focusing on work. The complex is a well-known building in this part of Panvel. My office isn't anything special to look at. It has a few old wooden chairs, a sturdy desk, and plenty of papers. I've been in this same room for years. Most of my day is spent here, looking out the window at the people going into the mandir. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and I have a small fan that hums in the corner. It's a quiet life for the most part. People come to see me because they know the address and they know I've been here forever. I don't use a lot of technology or fancy systems. I prefer writing things down and keeping physical records. It feels more reliable that way. Panvel has grown so much since I started, but this little corner near the temple feels like it stays the same. I open up around ten and stay until the evening lights come on at the complex. It is just the way I have always done things, day after day, without any fuss.
