Patil Engineering Works

Our workshop, Patil Engineering Works, is situated out here in Taluka Roha, near Nagothane. We are pretty close to the Mumbai Goa Highway, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are passing through or coming from the nearby areas. It is mostly machine work and fixing things that break down. The shop stays quite busy with different mechanical parts and tools lying around on the benches. We spend most of our hours dealing with repairs and making sure parts fit like they should. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep at it. Being near the highway means we get all sorts of requests, sometimes from locals and sometimes from people just passing by who need something sorted out quickly. We aren't a big corporation. It is just a practical engineering shop where we focus on the task at hand. There is usually grease on the floors and the sound of machines running in the background. We’ve been in this part of Nagothane for some time now. We don't spend much time on paperwork or fancy talks; we just look at the machine or the part and see what needs to be done. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we just get on with it. The location is convenient for anyone around Roha, and we just keep the doors open for whatever work comes our way today.
