Ajay Enguneering Works

Ajay Enguneering Works is tucked away at No. 14/15 in the Krishna Industrial Estate. Being in Taloja MIDC means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and heavy industry. It’s a gritty place, but it’s where the real work happens. We focus on engineering tasks, mostly involving metalwork and machine parts. Our space is filled with heavy equipment and the smell of cutting oil. It’s been our home for a long time. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people just know where we are. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. The work is physical and you have to pay attention to what you’re doing. We’ve got a small group of workers who know their way around the machines. We don't spend much time talking about business strategy. We just look at what needs to be fixed or built and we start. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, which is a pain, but we just wait it out or do what we can by hand. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. We’ve had some of the same customers for over a decade. They know we just do what we say we will. It’s a practical way to run a shop. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. That’s enough for us.
